A graphic editor to draw with ASCII characters.
JavE is an unusual graphic editor which only uses ASCII characters. This means that everything you draw appears on-screen as letters, numbers and punctuation marks. The program has all the options of a normal graphic editor, including the chance to draw by hand. You can insert images, text boxes, etc.
As for the options that are specific to ASCII, JavE lets you, for example, convert your work of art in ASCII into GIF format, or viceversa (convert any image in JPG, GIF or BMP to a drawing with ASCII characters).
